Ask Me His Name

Where do I begin? Elle Wirght from Feathering the Empty Nest has written Ask Me His Name is honour of her son Teddy.

If you don’t know who Elle is please go and check her out, what she is doing is making child loss accessible. She is trying to break down the walls of the echo chamber we are in and by jove she is achieving it! She has stormed the book charts, whilst raising thousands for Tommy’s as well as her collaboration with Gemma from Mutha.Hood.

Ask Me His Name is the first book I have read since Ben died. I have found my concentration lacking so unable to read but Elle’s book is a beautiful, easy read.

It is also an absolute honour for Our Missing Peace to be one of the 4 charities mentioned in the book.

When I first met Elle and Nico we had no idea how the future would throw us together. I fully believe thought that people are put in our path for so many reasons, this however is the worst possible one!

Elle, you and Nico, are doing an amazing job as Teddy’s parents and Boris is the best big brother anyone little boy could ask for. What a process you have both been through to make this all happen and I want to say a massive thank you for trying to help the world grasp, in some small way, this shittest of situations.

Lots of love from Ben’s Mummy, Daddy and brothers xxxx
